About

Julie Hatch is a master’s prepared pediatric nurse practitioner with a passion for kids’ health and welfare. She spent over thirty years working in pediatric and neonatal intensive care where she thrived on adrenaline rushes, and prepared to face the next emergency coming through the ICU door. In the world of neonatal intensive care with unimaginably micro sized babies, Julie experienced some of the most cutting-edge medical advancements and witnessed a multitude of medical miracles where thousands of tiny lives were born, and countless babies saved.

Julie has retired from hospital work and now practices acupuncture, blending eastern and western medicine. She has also started to write – medical thrillers. No surprise there. Walk through the doors of any hospital and you will find a world of high action, intrigue, and dark secrets, right alongside compassion, love, and hope. Julie brings that world, with all its messy human imperfections, into her thriller writing.

Julie lives with her husband on the south coast of Massachusetts.
